Braggin Board Pictures | January 29th 2012

PLEASE Send us some recent pictures!  Kids, Wives, Girlfriends, Mom, or Dad, we love them all! Just attach them to an e-mail with a short explanation to tashby@americanlegacyfishing.com and we'll make sure they are posted on the "Braggin' Board". We will also try to get them in our newsletter.

Beautiful Dolphin fish

Dan Ross sends us this picture of a dolphin fish (mahi mahi) caught in Costa Rica recently. Be sure to take a look at Dan's web site at www.drsportfishingcostarica.com/drsport for many more pictures and information on some of his marvelous fishing packages.

Alabama Rig in action

Here's more proof that winter fishing can produce some nice fish. Seth Brown shows off just one of over 20 bass caught the middle of this month using an Alabama rig on Kentucky Lake. Looks like fun, but very cold!

Great Sturgeon caught on the Columbia River

Our good friend and Airflo Fly Line "girl Friday, Anna Kittoe, shows all of us how it's done. This 40" keeper sturgeon was caught on the  COLD Columbia River using a Shimano Clarus rod with a Shimano Calcutta TE reel. Way to go, Anna!

Nice Lake of Egypt bass

Our very own Jake Wininger shows off a really nice Lake of Egypt, Illinois bass caught the first week of January. Who says winter fishing is slow? Good job, Jake!

Awesome 19lb Snook

Roberto Cabral caught this wonderful 19 lb snook in Ceará state, Brazil last month. A snook this size had to have been a blast to catch and Roberto says there are many at this lodge: www.mirantedasgamboas.com

Look at all the fish!

Here's a picture for all you guys who use color fish finders. What we have here is largemouth bass stacked up like cord wood at about 36 feet in 46 degree water on Kentucky Lake. This may explain why Seth Brown and Jake Wininger were so successful in mid January!

Awesome Zander

Whatever they do in Belgium to produce giant zander (walleye) we need to find out about. Now! Gunther Van Ginneken shows off another monster zander he seems so adept at catching with uncanny frequency. Well done, G-man!

Awesome Sailfish

Dan Ross says fishing in Costa Rica is great. We couldn't argue with that once we saw this picture of this beautiful sailfish caught by "ms" Sorenson, on a fly rod much less!

Sunshine and Sea, ahhh

Ah, life in Western Australia in December! The only thing missing is a couple of fishermen!

Please, folks, send us some of your pictures. We're not after trophies, just pictures of fish you're proud of. It's easy. Just attached them to an email and send them to us at tashby@americanlegacyfishing.com and we'll do our best to get them in the newsletter. Send them in to us!
